Tonetti Associates assisted the New Jersey Department of Fish and Wildlife in creating a 21st century fish hatchery on the site of its first fish rearing facility. TAA developed a master plan converting the original hatchery buildings into a visitor's center and siting the proposed intensive aqua culture building. TAA then designed a highly innovative intensive culture building which allowed increased production with lower labor costs. The building, which incorporated processes for water recycling, reduced energy and water usage.
